I’m Kara Anady, a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families within a variety of treatment settings. I specialize in people ages 5 to 25 years, but I also see adults over 25.
Treatment Orientation I have an integrative treatment approach that is based on the presenting problem and tailored to the individual I am seeing. I draw from treatment frameworks such as physiological/body-based, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), interpersonal, family systems, strengths-based, mindfulness, insight-oriented, etc. When working with families and children, I often focus on mending relationships and helping parents develop effective strategies. I am also a LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist.
I truly enjoy the work I do in helping clients resolve symptoms and focus on leading lives that are purposeful, meaningful, and satisfying.
To book an appointment with me you can call 405-856-6965 or follow the link below. In either case, there will be a brief screening process and once I have reviewed this you will be able to make an appointment. This screening process is to ensure the reason for your visit is something that I treat (e.g., anxiety) and that we are a good fit.
